Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager located in Virginia Beach, VA. The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate the design, development, and production launch of lithium-ion battery solutions. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Include the following, but other duties may apply:
- Lead new battery development projects through gated NPI process
- Plan and coordinate requirements between multi-disciplinary teams working on specific projects
- Report project progress and performance against planned timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate activities between functional groups, such as Engineering, Operations, Quality, etc.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for assigned products through development.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
- Some travel required.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 3 years of experience managing technical projects involving multi-disciplinary teams.
- Must be fluent in English and able to communicate with others effectively.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Project.
ADDITIONAL VALUED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE (NOT REQUIRED)
- Certified PMP.
- Understand lithium-ion batteries and systems.
- Understand electronic control systems.
- Experience with printed circuit boards.
- Experience sourcing suppliers, both foreign and domestic.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $79,219.00 - $90,396.00 per year
